At INBISCO we work with and approach for our process applications called the RASCI Method. RASCI is a method that helps to create a clear division of tasks, responsibilities and account relationships within your company.

RASCI is based on the American technique called “responsibility charting”and allows for a sharper and more accurate structure of the role division between all people that contribute to a certain process. Next to this, RASCI is also a very handy support tool for making arrangements and agreements about responsibilities regarding activities and business processes.

What does RASCI stand for?

RASCI is an abbreviation and stands for the following:

R = Responsible

A = Accountable

S = Support

C = Consult

I = Inform

Employees that have a certain role within a process, can be given a particular role within the RASCI terminology. This means that they will fulfill one of the roles above. Of course, these roles can differ per activity and process, however, together they create effective and clear work-processes.

Task Linking

The RASCI-method also connects employee’s tasks, responsibilities and authorities to activities and tasks that need to be executed. This way, mutual relationships between employees with regards to a certain activities become visible and at the same time, unnecessary or missing activities become obvious.

Working with the RASCI method allows you to increase efficiency rates within your organization and allows for a better workflow within your management.
